Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily treated variable capacitor apparatus a variable capacitor element of which can be stably supplied with a bias signal.
SOLUTION: The variable capacitor apparatus comprises a variable capacitor element C1 wherein a first electrode layer 2, a thin-film dielectric layer 3, and a second electrode layer 4 are laminated on a supporting substrate 1, a first DC limiting capacitor element C11 connected with the first electrode layer 2, a second DC limiting capacitor element C12 connected with the second electrode layer 4, a first transmission line L1 whose one end is connected with the interposition between the variable capacitor element C1 and the first DC limiting capacitor element C11, a second transmission line L2 whose one end is connected with the interposition between the variable capacitor element C1 and the second DC limiting capacitor element C12, and a third DC limiting capacitor element C13 provided between the first transmission line L1 and a ground.
