Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable a variable capacitor to be increased in maximum capacity, set stable in capacity, and be easily and finely adjusted in capacity and to make its rotor stable in torque.
CONSTITUTION: A variable capacitor is equipped with a stator 2 which is composed of a dielectric body 6, a stator electrode l formed inside to function as a stationary electrode, and an outer electrode 7 electrically connected to the stator electrode 1. A rotor 3 which is formed of metal or insulator such as alumina where a conductor is provided and mounted on the stator 2 in a rotatable manner functioning as a movable electrode, a spring action part 13 which presses the rotor 3 against the stator 2, and a metal cover 5 which houses the rotor 3 keeping it, freely rotatable and is equipped with a terminal 4 which is electrically connected to the rotor 3 (movable electrode) to serve as a terminal are provided.
