To improve stability of delivery flow rate characteristics and improve assemblability of an outer case by preventing occurrence of fluctuation of delivery flow rate due to leak fluid from a passage communicating to a first and a second pressure chamber in a variable capacity pump provided with the outer case movably supporting cam ring moving according to pressure difference between the first and the second pressure chambers.
A plug 45 provided on a body 1 of the variable capacity pump P presses the outer case 30 in a storage chamber 4 in a radially inward to elastically deform the outer case 30. The outer case 30 includes extension parts 30e, 30f extending redially outward by elastic deformation to reduce radial gap with a body 1 at a part between a passage 34 and a passage 35. The expansion parts 30e, 30f shut off leak fluid and reduce pressure of leak fluid to prevent increase of pressure in a pressure chamber 31 due to intrusion of leak fluid from the passage 35 into the pressure chamber 31 via the passage 34.
