Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable capacity turbine securing a wide turning range required for a nozzle vane even when a nozzle vane formed into a three-dimensional blade shape is used.SOLUTION: A variable nozzle 5 of the variable capacity turbine includes: a pair of annular members 51, 52 disposed to enclose an outer perimeter of a turbine impeller; connecting members 54 provided at a plurality of position between the pair of annular members 51, 52 so as to dispose the pair of annular members 51, 52 spaced from and opposing to each other; and a plurality of vanes 53 which are spaced on the outer perimeter of the turbine impeller, wherein the vane comprises a vane body 53a whose vane face 53f includes at least a face except for a face parallel to the opposing direction of the pair of annular members 51, 52, and axes 53b, 53c turnably supporting the vane body 53a between the pair of annular members 51, 52 with the axis of turning aligned to the opposing direction. The connecting members 54 are provided in such a way as avoiding the moving range defined by turning of the vane body 53a.
