Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a variable caster mechanism for a motorcycle wherein setting to an arbitrary caster angle can be attained further with a simple mechanism and further lightening weight can be attained.
CONSTITUTION: In this constitution, a head pipe 1, bearing housing 3 selectively fixable removable in this head pipe 1 to fix a bearing 4 supported to an internal peripheral surface 3B and the bearing 4 internally provided in this bearing housing 3 to rotatably support an upper end part of a front fork 5 to the inside are provided, to form replaceably as necessary the bearing housing 3 with the center of the internal periphery agreeing relating to the external periphery and the bearing housing 3 with the center of the internal periphery displaced to the front/rear relating to the external periphery.
