Title:
VARIABLE DELAY DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2009302689
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a variable delay device which does not require adjustment after assembling.

The variable delay device includes two printed circuit boards 40, 50 having circular arc transmission line patterns concentrically formed thereon, which are stacked so that the transmission line patterns are in contact with each other. The variable delay device is configured to adjust a transmission line length by rotating one of the printed circuit boards. Ring-shaped ground patterns are formed on the outer circumference of the respective printed circuit boards on which the circular arc transmission line patterns are formed, and ground patterns are formed on the whole faces of the other sides, and the ground patterns of the both faces are electrically connected by a large number of through-holes.
