Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce pulsative motion accompanied with fluctuation of rotational speed of a pump, and also reduce noises accompanied with pump vibration in a variable delivery pump.
SOLUTION: An oscillatable cam ring 17 is fitted so as to form a pump chamber 18 between the cam ring 17 and an outer periphery of a rotor 15 having a vane 15a. Substantially V-shaped notches 70, 24a are cut out on starting ends of the rotor at a pump suctioning side opening 26 and a pump discharging side opening 24 opening to a pump chamber, in a rotational direction. The notches 70 formed on the starting end of the rotor in a rotational direction at the suctioning side opening 26 are parallely arranged in a diameter direction of the pump chamber. Communication timing between the pump suctioning side opening and the pressure chamber formed between the vanes is varied accompanied with oscillation displacement of the cam ring due to the notches having different lengths in the rotational direction of the rotor.
