Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable the underwater exhaust of exhaust gas of an engine through the inside of the propeller boss of a variable diameter type propeller.
CONSTITUTION: Plural recessed parts 25 and land parts 26 are arranged alternately in circumferential direction on the outer periphery of a propeller boss 19. The boss 31a of a propeller blade 31, and a blade shaft 32 disposed parallel with the axis of the propeller boss 19 so as to support the boss 31a rotatably are accommodated in the recessed part 25. The land part 26 is provided with an exhaust passage 29 axially piercing the land part 26 so as to open the exhaust outlet 13 of a propulsion machine body 1 to the rear end face of the propeller boss 19.
