PURPOSE: To keep pressure in a crankcase to a preset value and provide sufficient sealing performance by disposing a crankcase pressure detecting means and placing a valve mechanism which is opened and closed in accordance with the detecting signal in a pressure supply passage which communicates an intake chamber and the crankcase with each other.
CONSTITUTION: When a pressure PC in a crankcase is reduced to a preset value PCO from a high-pressure state, a pressure Pb in a valve case B is also reduced to the preset value PCO. A ball valve 36 is therefore pushed by a spring 37 to close a valve hole 29c. When the pressure PC in a crankcase C is reincreased by blow-by gas after the closing action of the ball valve 36, a force which acts on a bellows 33 becomes unbalanced. The ball valve 36 is thereby floated from the valve hole 29c. By repetition of the opening and the closing action of a control valve 28 or repetition of regulation of opening thereof, the pressure PC in the crankcase can be maintained to the preset value PCO during operation of a compressor.
