Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve responsiveness to cooling load by opening and closing a bypass which connects a compression chamber to a swash plate chamber or a suction chamber by a spool valve means and opening and closing a pressure feeding passage which connects a discharge chamber to said swash plate chamber.

CONSTITUTION: Bypass ports 27F, 27R which are connected to compression chambers 8F, 8R respectively and bypass ports 28F, 28R which are connected to a swash plate chamber 5 are provided to form bypasses, which are opened and closed by spool valves 29F, 29R. A pressure feeding passage 32 which connects a discharge chamber 15F to the swash chamber 5 is opened and closed by a solenoid valve 33 which is operated by a command signal which has detected the limit value of cooling load. Therefore, the spools can be securely operated irrespective of variation in the temp. of a compressor, increasing responsiveness to cooling load.
