To provide a variable displacement turbocharger capable of preventing exhaust gas from leaking to outside the variable displacement turbocharger from around an actuator for driving a variable nozzle, and a power transmission member.
A variable displacement turbocharger includes a turbine shaft, an intake side turbine, an exhaust side turbine, an exhaust side housing, an intake side housing, a bearing housing for rotatably supporting the turbine shaft, a variable nozzle provided inside the exhaust side housing, and an actuator for driving the variable nozzle. The variable nozzle is driven by the actuator through a power transmission member. The actuator 50 is housed inside the intake side housing without being exposed to outside the intake side housing 11. The power transmission member 40 is housed inside a turbo housing 10 comprising the intake side housing 11, the bearing housing 13 and the exhaust side housing 12, without being exposed to outside the turbo housing 10.
