PURPOSE: To provide constant flow rate control and cost reduction in manufacture by eliminating the use of a switching valve for volume control.
CONSTITUTION: A cylinder block 8 provided with a cylinder bore 10 is fitted onto a driving shaft 5 so as to rotate synchronously, and the basic end part of a piston 11 stored in the bore 10 is brought into sliding contact with the sloped surface of a swash plate 17 whose angle is variable through a shoe 27. Between a front housing 2 and the swash plate 17, a return spring 28 which forces its inclined angle to the minimum position is placed. The swash plate 17 is supported by a supporting shaft 34 and an eccentric shaft 35. The position of the central axis O3 of the eccentric shaft 35, namely, the inclining center O3 of the swash plate 17 is set so as to be displaced downwards from the axis O1 of the driving shaft 5.
