A cylindrical projecting part 34A having an arc-like cross section having an angle α larger than 180° around the tilt center axis X-X of the swash plate 33 is formed on the tilt support member 34 for tiltably supporting the swash plate 33; a fitting recessed part 33D having an arc-like cross section corresponding to the projecting part 34A is formed on the back face side of the swash plate 33; and the arcing surface of the projecting part 34A is fitted to that of the recessed part 33D. Thereby, even if a pressing force Fc acting on the swash plate 33 from a tilting piston 14 becomes excessive, the swash plate 33 can be prevented from separating from the projecting part 34A of the support member 34, and the swash plate 33 can stably be held at a minimum tilting position.
