Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable expansion ratio mechanism capable of changing an expansion ratio/a compression ratio in an internal combustion engine, and improving thermal efficiency.SOLUTION: A variable expansion ratio mechanism 10 includes: a connecting rod 4 rotatably connected to a piston 3 in an internal combustion engine; a trigonal link 11 rotatably connected to the connecting rod 4 and rotatably connected to a crank shaft 5; and a link mechanism 20 having an oscillation shaft 21 rotatably connected to the trigonal link 11, controlling a displacement amount of the oscillation shaft so as to change a bottom dead point of the piston in an expansion stroke, and regulating the movable range of the trigonal link 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
