Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a variable frequency oscillation circuit operable by a low power-supply voltage, capable of the oscillation of a low frequency by the capacitor of a small capacity and suitable for being turned to an integrated circuit.
CONSTITUTION: A switch control circuit 28 controls the ON/OFF states of switching circuits 2o and 26 corresponding to a difference between the collector current of a transistor Q21 and the output current of constant current sources 25 and 27 and charges and discharges the capacitor C20 constituting an integrator TNT through a resistor R20 by the constant current sources 21, 22, 24 and 25. Thus, by changing the resistance value of the resistor R20 and the current value of the constant current sources 21 and 22, the oscillation of the low frequency is made possible by using the capacitor of the small capacity and the circuit is suitable for the integration circuit. Also, since one stage of a VBE is present between a power source and ground, operations can be performed by the low power-supply voltage.
