Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable heat conductivity element not requiring application of electromagnetic energy, and having high degree of design freedom, e.g., having a curved surface.SOLUTION: A variable heat conductivity element having a critical point of heat conductivity at a specific temperature includes a first layer containing a first compound of a metal M1 and a non-metal G, and a second layer containing a metal M2. One set or more of the first layer and the second layer are laminated alternately, and assuming the standard generation free energy of the first compound of the metal M1 and the non-metal G is ΔG°, and the standard generation free energy of a second compound of the metal M2 and the non-metal G is ΔG°, magnitude relation of ΔG° and ΔG° is reversed at the specific temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
