Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable intake device which, by making intake port members of intake passages for respective banks of a V-type internal combustion engine movable synchronously by drive of a common driving source, simplifies a drive mechanism, reduces the number of parts to reduce a cost, and excels in the maintainability.SOLUTION: A variable intake device of a V-type internal combustion engine comprises a drive mechanism (50) for moving intake port members (35f, 35r). The drive mechanism (50) comprises a parallel crank mechanism (60) which comprises a press member (64) as a movable link element for pressing the intake port member (35f) on the first bank (Bf) side and the intake port member (35r) on the second bank (Br) side and moving them in directions of the respective passage center axes (Lf, Lr), and a driving source (55) for swinging one crank member (62) of a pair of opposite crank members (62, 63) of the parallel crank mechanism (60).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
