Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain downsizing and reduction in weight by configuring a variable magnetic coupling reactor that utilizes magnetic interference between two reactor elements integrally formed by using a common core.SOLUTION: A core 150 includes magnetic legs 151-153. Coils 121a and 121b wound around the magnetic legs 151 and 152 are connected in series and form a first reactor. A coil 122 wound around the magnetic leg 153 forms a second reactor. Magnetic fields 211 and 212 by the first reactor and a magnetic field 213 by the second reactor are strengthened by each other in the magnetic leg 152 and weakened by each other in the magnetic leg 151, on the other hand. Operations of the first and second reactors are changed from a non-magnetic coupling mode in which the first and second reactors operate in a magnetically non-interfered state, to a magnetic coupling mode in which the first and second reactors operate in a magnetically interfered state, in accordance with current increase.
