Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable oil pump capable of efficiently discharging oil sucked from a suction port side to a volume chamber to a discharging side, even when carrying out the variable control of discharge amount.SOLUTION: A variable oil pump 100 is equipped with an outer rotor 12; an inner rotor 11 inscribed to the outer rotor 12 and engaged with the outer rotor 12; and a pump body 20 storing the outer rotor 12 and the inner rotor 11, and including a suction port 22 and a discharge port 23. By changing a plane area S (cut-off width W) of a space area 16 connecting from a suction side 16a including the suction port 22 to a discharge side 16b including the discharge port 23, the variable control of the discharge amount of oil 1 is carried out.
