Abstract:
To prevent burnout of an inverter or motor when a pump is in over- load operation.
A variable speed pump device is equipped with a pump element 14, an inverter 12 to control the operation of the pump, and a temp. sensing means 131 to sense the temp. of the inverter 12. A control means 11 raises the output frequency of the inverter 12 when the inverter temp. sensed by the sensing means 131 is lower than the set value, and sinks the output frequency when the determined temp. is higher than the set value.
