Abstract:
To suppress the enlargement of an actuator and also to prevent interference of a spring energizing means with other materials.
In this variable stroke characteristics engine, a piston 11 and a crankshaft 30 are connected to a control shaft 65 through a variable stroke characteristics mechanism, the actuator with the spring energizing mechanism is provided on the control shaft, the actuator transmits driving force for changing stroke characteristics to the control shaft, and the spring energizing means assists driving force in one direction of the control shaft. The spring energizing means SP is stored in the driving shaft 66 of the actuator AC.
