To attain the torque control function by variable pressure controlling pulley pinching pressure between a transmission wheel and a transmission body, by particularly dividedly supplying elastic pressurizing force to one transmission wheel, in a variable transmission device for simultaneously supplying elastic pressurization force generated by serial superimposition of pressurization force and elastic force to one of two transmission wheels and always supplying only the pressurization force to the other.

This variable transmission device is provided for respectively imparting the variable torque control function and the speed ratio output rotating speed control function to the first and second transmission wheels, by indirectly supplying the elastic force by mutually serially superimposing an elastic device and a compression device when performing pressurization control on the first transmission wheel via the elastic device from a first pressurization device, and directly supplying nonelastic pressurization force to the second transmission wheel from a second pressurization device, and also respectively clearly dividedly and individually supplying the elastic force and the pressurization force from the first and second pressurization devices.
