Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a first curve indicating valve lift amount to a rotation angle of an internal combustion engine in a first state to intersect both of a second curve and a third curve indicating the same value in a second state and a third state.SOLUTION: A variable valve mechanism 1 is composed of a first input arm 10 driven by a first cam 9a; a second input arm 20 driven by a second cam 9b; a third input arm 30 driven by a third cam 9c; and an output arm 40 which drives a valve 85 at rocking. It becomes a first state by coupling only the first input arm 10 of the first and second input arms 10 and 20 to the output arm 40, and it becomes the second state or the third state by coupling only the second input arm 20. Concretely, it becomes the second state by not coupling the third input arm 30 to the second input arm 20, and it becomes the third state by coupling the third arm 30 to the second input arm 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
