Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To a rotational speed of a cam as desired by surely transmitting a rotation to be transmitted from a camshaft via a non uniform coupling. SOLUTION: In a cam lobe 8 being applied to a variable valve system, two cams 34a and 34b are installed in a peripheral part of a steel pipe 32 externally fitted in a camshaft 4, and this one cam 34 and a flange 30 are integrally formed together. A torque in this camshaft 4 is transmitted to the cam lobe 8 via non uniform coupling 6, and at this time, the cam 34a directly receives the torque to be inputted into the flange 30, thereby making a valve 2a drivable.
