Abstract:
PURPOSE:To change valve timing easily by using a simple/compact structure. CONSTITUTION:A cam shaft is formed in a double structure consisting of an inside shaft body 11 and an outside cylinder shaft 12 so as to constitute a two- system rotation transmitting unit having different modulus of elasticity, and the inside shaft body 11 is connected to a driving force input unit, and the inside shaft body 11 and the outside cylinder shaft 12 are connected to each other by means of the edge parts, and an intermittent mechanism 15 is also arranged between the outside cylinder shaft 12 and the driving force input unit, so that an amount of twist and deformation in the rotation transmitting unit can be changed by means of its intermittence.
