Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve atomization of fuel during idling operation in a variable Venturi type carburetor.
CONSTITUTION: A variable Venturi type carburetor has a bypass passage 7 for injecting fuel from a bypass port 8 opened upstream from a throttle valve 12 during idling operation. The bypass passage 7 is extended to a downstream side of the throttle valve, so that fuel is injected into an intake passage from a second bypass port 9 formed downstream.
