To provide a varnish which is used in the production of a hot-water drainer-attached instant food container lid material, has peel strength proper for production and a good peeling appearance, keeps its peeling properties even when stored for a long time, and demonstrates excellent practical effects.
In the hot-water drainer-attached instant food container lid material, an easy peeling area obtained by applying a peeling layer and a filling layer is divided into an adhesion area to be laminated/bonded mutually. The varnish for the hot-water drainer-attached instant food container lid material makes the peeling layer and the filling layer which form the easy peeling area and contains a polyamide resin and cellulose nitrate as a binder. The weight ratio between the two components is expressed by the formula:polyamide resin:cellulose nitrate=50:50-90:10.
