Abstract:
To provide a varnish impregnation device capable of preventing varnish from staying between an inner peripheral surface of a stator and a support surface of a chuck, and a varnish impregnation method.SOLUTION: An impregnation device 1 includes: a rotary shaft member 2; a chuck 5 provided so as to be expandable and contractible radially outward from the rotary shaft member 2 and rotatably supporting the stator 4 from an inner peripheral surface 4a side; and a sealing member 9 that is formed of a resin material having thermal expansion property, and provided on a supporting surface 5a of the chuck 5 for supporting the stator 4, and deforms so as to fill a gap between the supporting surface 5a and the inner peripheral surface 4a of the stator 4 by thermally expanding.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
