Abstract:

To provide a VEGF production promoter which can especially effectively be applied to wound-healing agents, hair growers, and skin external preparations having skin color-improving effects, has excellent neovascularization-inducing effects at wound sites or on the peripheries of hair follicles.

This VEGF production promoter contains one or more compounds selected from terpenoids and their derivatives, and is especially effective for the wound-healing agents, the hair growers, and the skin external preparations having the skin color-improving effects.
