Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent erroneous detection reliably by producing an alarm if a vector operated through a recursive algorithm does not match with a vector operated through a non-recursive algorithm.

CONSTITUTION: A vector operating unit 10 and phase reference signal generators 11, 12 perform calculation shown on the drawing recursively through a delay circuit D thus producing a Fourier series bar X(r). The phase difference signal generators 11, 12 generate cosπ/6r and sinπ/6r respectively. The circuits are provided with auxiliary vector operating units 30a, 30b. Auxiliary vector operating units 30a, 30b are provided to these generators. The auxiliary vector operating units 30a, 30b perform the calculation sown on the drawing non-recursively and produces a result in the form of bar X'(r). An alarm producing circuit 50 produces an alarm if the bar X(r) does not match with the bar X'(r).
