Abstract:
To provide vectors expressing therapeutic proteins for the treatment of cancer, lysosomal storage disorders, ocular diseases, liver diseases, or infectious diseases.SOLUTION: Provided is a vector for conditionally expressing a therapeutic protein, the vector comprising a polynucleotide comprising (1) at least one transcription factor sequence which is operably linked to a promoter and encodes a ligand-dependent transcription factor; (2) a nucleic acid sequence that is functionally linked to a promoter activated by a ligand-dependent transcription factor complex containing a VP16 transcription activation domain polypeptide and an ecdysone receptor domain polypeptide, and encodes the following a) to d): a) 5'untranslated region (UTR); b) a signal peptide; c) IL-12p40 polypeptide; d) IL-12p35 polypeptide; and e) a polyadenylation signal selected from SV40e polyadenylation signal or human growth hormone (hGH) polyadenylation signal.SELECTED DRAWING: None
