Abstract:
To provide lanolin substitutes which is considerably less expensive compared with lanolin.
The lanolin substitutes comprise 5-20% by weight of polyol ester, based on the weight of petrolatum, and petrolatum. The lanolin substitutes can be used as lanolin substitutes in all the products that include lanolin as one component, such as pharmaceuticals, leather finishing compositions, soaps, detergents, and cosmetic compositions, e.g. face creams, facial tissues, hair-set composition and suntan preparations.
