Title:
VEGETATION BASE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3427005
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetation base having germination openings for plant seeds formed in a paper sheet without causing the great decrease in tensile strength, and without generation of paper pieces which causes a problem in the after-treatment.
SOLUTION: Cut line formation zones S1 and no cut lien zones S2 are alternately set in the direction of the width of a paper sheet 2 on the paper sheet 2, and in the cut line formation zones S1, cut lines (a) of the direction of the width in the sheet are formed at specific intervals in the longitudinal direction of the sheet 2. About half the number of sheet threads 2a between both cut liens (a) are expanded to one side of the sheet 2 to form germination openings A for plant seeds.
