Abstract:
To provide a vegetation mat capable of suppressing drying damage to vegetation and making it possible to green the ground or slope more quickly and efficiently.SOLUTION: A vegetation mat 10 installed on the ground to be greened includes a water-permeable vegetation sheet 11 that extends horizontally and vertically in a plane and is laid on the ground, and one or more water retaining sheets 15 having water-blocking properties attached to the vegetation sheet 11. The water retaining sheet 15 has a connecting portion 16 that is connected to the vegetation sheet 11, and a movable portion 17 that is deformable so that the connecting portion 16 is a fixed end and a free end is raised. The movable portion 17 is configured such that the free end of the water retaining sheet 15 is lifted by the vegetation P that has sprouted or grown on the vegetation sheet 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
