In the vegetation mat in which a plurality of bag sections 12 composed of nets holding soil are formed, the bag sections 12 comprising warp- weft double cloth and connecting-contacting sections 14 are alternately woven continuously and integrally. A sewing process and a knitting process are not required, and the mat can be manufactured simply and easily. Since the mat can be manufactured particularly by a series of weaving processes without a connecting process by connecting-contacting yarn or the like after two (a plurality of) sheets are produced once, the mats can be factory-produced at a low cost with stable quality. The restraint of a weaving tissue is improved, and mesh slippage and yarn accompanying are difficult to form.
