Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for preventing a vegetation surface of natural grass or the like on a golf course, baseball field, soccer field, or the like from being damaged by wheels of a carriage temporarily held on the vegetation surface and also preventing the use of the vegetation surface from being hindered.SOLUTION: The vegetation surface-protecting carriage wheel receiver 1A comprises a substantially dish-shaped receiver body 2 for receiving wheels 171 of a carriage 10 temporarily retained on a vegetation surface L from below; and a support 3A disposed on the lower surface of the receiver body and having three piercing portions 311 penetrating the vegetation surface. The support includes three support pins 31a and 31b having lower end portions respectively provided as piercing portions 311. The receiver body has a bottom wall 21 extending in the left-right direction. On the lower surface of the left end portion of the bottom wall, the support is disposed. The upper end of the left end portion serves as a wheel-mounting portion 211. A wheel guiding end wall 25 is provided on the receiver body such that it extends obliquely right-upward from the right end of the bottom wall and at least one portion thereof is brought into contact with the vegetation surface when the carriage wheel receiver is tilted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
