Abstract:

To provide an inductance detection type vehicle accelerator opening degree detection device which has a simple structure with a small number of components and does not require high manufacturing accuracy.

Accelerator opening degree sensors 23 include: first and second spindles 20, 21 mutually separately supported by a sensor case 5; coils 22 having detection coil parts 22a to be wound around the first spindles 20 and coil pull-out parts 22b to be pulled-out from the detection coil parts 22a and supported by the second spindles 21; coil pull-out control members 24 to be supported by a rotor 6 and engaged with the coil pull-out parts 22b, changing the lengths of the coil pull-out parts 22b in accordance with the rotation angle change of the rotor 6 with the opening/closing operation of an accelerator grip G, and changing the winding number of the detection coil parts 22a; and an inductance detection circuit 28 for detecting the inductances of the detection coil parts 22a and outputting a signal corresponding to the rotation angle of the rotor 6.
