Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an on-vehicle air cleaner which is capable of operation in short time with a gas sensor by shortening the gas sensor stability time.
CONSTITUTION: A control circuit 3 controls the rotation of a motor 4. A gas sensor 5 consisting of a sensor portion 6 and a heater 7 has a first power supply 8 and a second power supply 9 for supplying voltage to the gas sensor 5. The second power supply 9 is set higher than the first power supply 8. In a power supply selection circuit 10 which changes over the power supply for the heater 7, at the time when a power supply switch 2 is connected the second power supply 9 is selected, and then after a short time of several seconds or several ten seconds, the first power supply 8 is selected, to make 12 with a sensor detection circuit 11, an output change of the sensor portion 6 is detected, so that by sending a signal to the control circuit 3 the rotation of a motor 4 is controlled. Accordingly, by changing over the power supply for the heater 7 by the power supply circuit 10, resistance stabilization time of the sensor portion 6 is shortened.
