Abstract:
To reduce power consumption of an electric hot-water heater during heating.SOLUTION: An air conditioner 21 includes a heat exchanger 23 which conducts heat exchange between a coolant of an engine 2 mounted in an engine room 4 of a vehicle 1 and air to be supplied to an interior of a vehicle cabin 24 and heats the interior of the vehicle cabin 24 through the heat exchange conducted by the heat exchanger 23. The air conditioner 21 includes an electric hot-water heater 20 which heats the coolant to be supplied to the heat exchanger 23. The electric hot-water heater 20 is disposed spaced apart from an exhaust pipe 15 of the engine 2 in an upward direction at an upper part in the engine room 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
