Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle capable of prolonging life of an air filter.SOLUTION: An air conditioner 1 for a vehicle includes: an air-conditioning case 12; and an air filter 14 arranged inside the air-conditioning case 12 and formed into a pleat shape. The air filter 14 comprises a filter medium 142 and an end plate part 144 reinforcing the filter medium 142. Inside the air-conditioning case 12, a pleat direction DRf of the filter medium 142 is arranged in a posture to be a direction crossing a horizontal direction DRh. An end plate part 144 is fixed to one end side in the pleat direction DRf in the filter medium 142. Moreover, the air filter 14 is arranged in the posture in which an end part on another end side where no end plate part 144 in the filter medium 142 is provided in a posture positioned below a vertical direction of the end part where the end plate part 144 in the filter medium 142 is provided. An end part on the other side in the filter medium 142 has at least a part on an air flow upstream side separate from the air-conditioning case 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
