To provide a vehicle anti-theft device capable of improving anti-theft performance as compared with the conventional immobilizer system.
In the vehicle anti-theft device, an owner identifying means for identifying an identifying code sent from a transmitter, and a steering controlling means for controlling steering of a vehicle are connected so as to communicate with each other. When identifying that the identifying code sent from the transmitter is an identifying code registered in advance, the owner identifying means sends a communication code. When receiving the communication code and identifying as a communication code registered in advance, the steering controlling means starts steering control of the vehicle.
