When an eco-driving ECU 2 switches a mode to an eco-driving mode, it is determined whether or not quick increase in engine output of an own vehicle is required, based on information from various kinds of sensors of the own vehicle acquired by a navigation side control device 48. When it is determined that the quick increase in engine output of the own vehicle is required, a signal for switching from the eco-driving mode to a normal mode is outputted from the navigation side control device 48 to the eco-driving ECU 2.
