A vehicle 1 mounted with an electric motor for travel includes: a vehicle speed sensor 20 which detects the vehicle speed of the vehicle 1; frequency change means 10 of setting a reproduction speed based upon the detected vehicle speed V detected by the vehicle speed sensor 20, and performing processing for changing the frequency of a sound source signal α with the reproduction speed and generating a sounding signal; and a sounding unit 30 which generates a sound according to the sounding signal generated by the frequency change means 10. The frequency change means 10 includes a limit reproduction speed setting part 14 which sets, as the reproduction speed, a limit reproduction speed set by limiting the degree of reproduction speed change to a change degree limit value L without using a vehicle speed-corresponding reproduction speed when a comparison determination part 13 determines that the degree of reproduction speed change is larger than a change degree limit value L.
