Title:
VEHICLE BATTERY COOLING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013224105
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a vehicle battery cooling device that can suppress a passenger from feeling cold due to a cooled air of a battery.

A battery ECU of a battery cooling device includes: an air intake port 14 that is opened in a vehicle cabin 6; a cooling fan 13 and a cooling fan motor 15 that sucks air in the vehicle cabin 6 as a cooled air via the air intake port 14 and adjusts a flow rate of the cooled air and supplies it to the battery; and an air discharge port 18 that is opened in the vehicle cabin 6, discharges the cooled air supplied to the battery 12 to the vehicle cabin 6. On a condition that an air temperature of the current vehicle cabin 6 is by a predetermined temperature lower than a target air temperature of the vehicle cabin 6 adjusted by an air-conditioner 4, the cooling fan 13 and a cooling fan motor are actuated to narrow down the flow rate of the cooled air.
