Abstract:
To provide an opening and closing body control apparatus for vehicle that detects pinching of an obstacle in a short time.SOLUTION: A motor control unit includes: a motor rotational status detection unit; a pinching determination unit that determines pinching of an obstacle based on a rotational state of a motor; a pinching determination threshold setting unit that sets a pinching determination threshold; a mask setting unit that controls the pinching determination unit so as not to perform pinching determination until a lapse of a predetermined mask time from stating operation by an opening and closing body for vehicle; and a motor instruction unit that controls the motor based on a pinching determination result. In a case where the motor rotational status detection unit detects that the opening and closing body for vehicle stops, when operation means outputs an operation signal to the motor instruction to start operation of the opening and closing body for vehicle, the pinching determination threshold setting unit sets the pinching determination threshold to a first pinching determination threshold after the laps of the mask time, and sets the pinching determination threshold to a second pinching determination threshold different from the first pinching determination threshold after a lapse of a first setting time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
