Abstract:
To add a reinforcement member to the inside of a cross section of a closed cross-section member, in a vehicle body frame member having the closed cross-section member manufactured by hydroforming or the like, by using a mass-production method while suppressing an increase in size or weight.
A rod-like member 25 is inserted into a frame body 3a of an upper frame 3 such that the rod-like member 25 reaches from one (a front wall portion 21) of the wall portions forming the closed cross section of the frame body 3a to the other wall portion (a rear wall portion 22) to connect the front and rear end portions 33, 34 of the rod-like member 25 to the front and rear wall portions 21, 22 of the frame body 3a.
