Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a carbon material as a principal material of a vehicle body frame, and secure sufficient rigidity, even when outer diameter of respective tube is equal to thickness of a body frame of a classic type.SOLUTION: Plural sheets are laminated to required thickness so that a head tube, top tube, bottom tube, and seat tube are integrated, and the laminated sheets are heated and compressed with epoxy resin. The top tube, bottom tube, and seat tube are formed to have same outer diameter in a range of 15-35 mm from one end to the other end of the respective tube. In addition, insides of a 1/4 section in which a direction from a front end to a rear end of the top tube is reference, of a front 1/4 section in which a direction from a front side to a rear side of the bottom tube is reference, and of a lower part 1/4 section in which a direction from a lower end to an upper end of the seat tube is reference, have an inner tube formed of the carbon material, fixed and installed thereto, respectively.
