Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provid a vehicle body front structure that can disperse collision load efficiently to vehicle body frame parts by moving actively a front wheel backward against collision load from the vehicle front side and making it interfered with a side sill in an early stage.
SOLUTION: Front wheel movement accelerating means 35 is placed between a front wheel 22 and an arm support member 19, for accelerating rear movement of the front wheel 22 when collision load F1 from the front is acted on the front wheel 22 in connection with rear deformation of an outward end portion 12a in the vehicle-width direction of a vehicle front end member 12. The front wheel 22 is moved rearward in an early stage at collision, made interfered with an outrigger 15 and a side sill 14, and the load is dispersed efficiently in the whole vehicle, accordingly, a cabin is prevented from being deformed.
