In a vehicle body positioning device 10, clamps 13 are installed on a pair of stays 12 provided on a surface plate 11, and a vehicle body frame 1 is supported by the pair of clamps via a vehicle body supporting shaft 14 and positioned. In the clamp 13, a first eccentric liner 16 and a second eccentric liner 17 with their inner circumferential surfaces being eccentric with respect to their outer circumferential surfaces are arranged on the inner side of a clamp case 15 in a successively rotatable manner, and a clamp ball 18 to be fixed to the vehicle body supporting shaft 14 is subjected to the spherical surface contact with an inner circumferential surface of the second eccentric liner 17 in a spherical surface movable manner.
