Abstract:
To provide a vehicle body side-surface structure that is able to reduce disturbance of a flow behind a vehicle by preventing a side-surface flow lower than the door maximum width of a vehicle cabin side-part from moving to the underside of a floor, thereby deflecting the side-surface flow upward and making it stronger, thus preventing the side-surface flow from moving into a rear-wheel house.SOLUTION: A garnish 40 is provided with a projection part 41 projecting outward such that a side-surface flow e lower than the door maximum width of a vehicle cabin side-part is prevented from moving toward the underside of a vehicle floor. A plate-like tire deflector 50 is provided at a front-edge lower-end part of the rear-wheel house 10 and at a vertical position of a rear end part of the projection part 41, the plate-like tire deflector being designed such that a side-surface flow moving over the projection part 41 is directed toward outside of the vehicle so as to prevent entering into the rear-wheel house 10 and is deflected so as to re-stick to a tire wheel external surface 9a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
